Nabis 322C Long Reach
Nabis is equipped with a 25-tonne long reach excavator capable of extending to 60 feet. The long reach excavator is a useful machine for works that are to be completed in hard to reach areas without the need for excessive civil exercises or machinery.
The excavator has recently completed a 2500-tonne rock groyne in the Pumicestone Passage, Caloundra. The long reach was used to construct the underwater (3 metres below surface) front toe section of the groyne. To accurately construct the toe, the machine is equipped with GNSS software that allows the operator to accurately construct and excavate to design levels.
