WORK SCOPE:

Removal of 6984m3 of PASS spoil for the canals by means of mechanical dredging techniques;

Transfer of spoil from dredge site to discharge site using floating bins;

Discharge material from floating bins to sealed truck units;
-
Truck spoil from the discharge site and dispose of the material at Duck Holes creek landfill;
-
Treat the material with lime at the Duck Holes Land Fill site.

Notes:

The barge excavator combo sets itself into position using spuds and excavates the material using the clamshell bucket.

The spoil is placed into the floating bins and taken to the discharge location.

Application:
-
The excavator at the discharge location removed the spoil from the floating bin and placed it in a sealed truck. The truck then carted the wet material to the Duck Holes facility for processing;

Whilst still wet, lime is spread through the material and mixed thoroughly.
